They’re trying to get you to humanely put the car out of it’s misery. How old of a car is it?

 

That’s what I’m thinking.

2011 with 81k. The plan is for it to become the 3rd vehicle, aka kids car. Son just finished drivers ed, which is why the clutch is now a problem.

 

I think it's easier to pull the motor for it

 

What I saw on you tube, guy went went in from rear, removed exhaust and what not.

 

Possibly, but with the timing set and head gaskets being a regular item on them I think they usually do a combo deal

 

I was wondering if it made sense to do the timing, didn’t know or think about the head gaskets.

 

Some cars they last and other they need to be changed. Head gaskets seem to be a regular item but also hit or miss at the same time

Anybody in the nashua area know or recommend a land surveyor? I think my neighbor removed the granite marker that is off of the street, for what reason I cannot understand. Gonna call assessors office tomorrow ask ask questions.

Hi New England Tacoma people!

What do you all have for smartphones? I am still rocking a Samsung S8 Edge that has been paid off for 2 years. Kinda thinking about an upgrade, although it still works pretty good, so I don't know, maybe not. The newer cameras seem pretty nice but that's about the only reason I'd switch. Just an interesting topic for the day.

 

@tacobell007 any drum rebuild kits you’ve had positive experiences with?

 

I have a Pixel 3. I love it, but I dropped it a couple months back (don't have a case) and the camera lens shattered. So my camera basically doesn't work. Now it's selfies or nothing. I just can't bring myself to buy a new phone for just the camera and getting it repaired would be like 75% the cost of a new phone. Although Google is having a sale on the Pixel 3 right now.

 

I have been a samsung Note fan for years. I am a power user and I have had the note, the note 2, the 4,the 7, the 8 and now the note 10. I would trust nothing else. iPhones can be good for some but if you want full control of your life, stick with a proven android.

 

Pixel 3 is one that I am considering.

It is very expensive yes, that is a fact. The S10 is a very good comparison at a cheaper price or wait for the new S11. The reason why I like the note is because of its Screen size, gorgeous display, multi-screen option, and the S pen. Most people think it is just a stylus but it is electronic and can do so many things. I wrote down written note and it turns it into text, scroll through pictures, control presentations, and translate sections of text in other languages. Like I said, I am a power user and it is a powerful phone. It is not for everyone but I can justify the price. The pixel 3 is a great phone as well, but I have always been a samsung guy.

 

Like your typical millennial I have an iPhone...XR I believe. Just got it since the iphone 6 I had for the past 4-5 years wouldn't hold a charge longer than a few hours anymore. Nothing bad to say about it. probably can get it cheap since the new ones with a pointless amount of cameras came out.
