If they forecast a big storm.. Don't worry about it. If they forecast a dusting... Hunker down for a blizzard.

Edit... And any forecast will mean gridlock on any roadway from 5a-8p on the front range.

My first winter here (5 years ago) it didnt matter if there was 2' on the ground, no one was late to work.

Now, if there is an inch, everyone is 2 hours late.

Y'all know the chain laws changed right? If they actually enforce it this year, maybe I-70 will be a tiny bit less of a shit show...
That and the "season" started earlier this year - September 1st. 4WD, AWD, snow tires, chains required from Sept. - June

    What hasn't been modified?
That’s only certain parts of I-70.
And they only go into affect as chain laws go into affect.

aka when semis have to chain up cars are required to be ^ or chained up also.

there is also the last ditch effort (law16) or somthing like that where vehicles HAVE to be awd/4wd with chains or snow tires to travel. But that’s super rare and last step before they close the road

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Agree with Marty on this. Garage slab should be "floating". I suspect it would cost more for excavation to go deeper plus reframing & new door than it would to move the header up(if you have room) with a new door.
I don't think they use pre-tesion slabs up here, so that should help with cost of removal/replacement of the existing slab at least.

you would probably also need to cut the foundation wall down at the front of the garage to lower the slab. If it is a true slab on grade, it should be separated from the foundation walls with slip joints to allow movement, but may be thickened and tied to the front wall with rebar where you drive into garage.

Any guesses what these fit? They were in the backseat of the new truck but definitely do not fit it

Looks like a minivan or Honda Fit. Something with flip down/forward rear seats with sliders.
