9661.jpg 285/45/22 Michelin Defenders on TRD Sema wheels with +25. No lift with minor rub on mud flap. 10-15, 488's in today and took her for the first 20 mile break in, much better. 9-27-20 have added morimoto headlights and blacked out the entire truck and added a leer topper. Upgrading the exhaust to duals with AFE cold air kit and OV tune has me averaging 22mpg. I'll post new pics when I get the topper back from paint shop. Also have factory tri fold for sale.
Traded the truck for a vette. I have set of 17x8.5 ray 10's still in the boxes for sale. Also have factory tri-fold tonneau cover and a toy-tec leveling kit. Stock headlites and tailites. Email me at jecady@hotmail.com

Installed the Ray10’s last week. Installed the TRD center caps yesterday, removed them this morning lol, too much bling with the bare metal outer ring and white truck.

How much lift are you running and did you have to do a cmc ? I have the same truck and I’ve ordered black method mr312wheels 17 x 8.5 0 off set
Still trying to decide if I can run a 285 tire? I have 2 1/4 lift front and 1 inch rear block

Surprisingly, it isn’t as horrible as everyone makes it sound. Probably because it’s 5MT. It’s also a light(er) wheel/tire setup with cooper STT Pro and 16x8 Ray10. The jump from 265s (what came with it when purchased), wasn’t anything dramatic.

With that being said, it absolutely needs a regear pronto to be fully functional and not make me feel horrible putting that kind of strain on the drivetrain. About to give up the Ray10s for F5s to shave an extra 4-5lb off per corner and a little extra stance.

Always heard how much 285s slowed you down. I didn’t even notice it. I am about to go to 295s and hopefully it is the same story.

I have F5s, the stance is totally worth any “pain”.

Honestly, if not regearing wouldn’t cause stress on the 2.7/tranny - I wouldn’t even bother regearing. BUT I want my truck fully functional and lasting a long time, thus I need to go 4.88 ASAP.

Agreed, 16x8 -25 is literally perfect for me with no fender flares.

Damn so does yours man! If only those TRD wheels had some offset. Saw a dude on IG running long travel setup with those same wheels and it looked badass.

Get some black ray10s and we can trade ;)
