    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
'whistling death' is the affectionate nickname of the F4U corsair... that's a scream. P51 is more like purrrssss

Honestly I didn't hear shit and then the people that I know up in Reedley up north actually hit me up so I had to question them what was going on, they knew that I'm going there sometime this month so they were asking if we were okay.

That's awesome! They were supposed to do something similar at Miramar called the heritage flight (35, 16, and the 51) all together but never happened. This was/is in Huntington Beach?

Yup. They flew it again today. Didn’t get any pics today as I just happened to be checking the grill and saw them fly over.

I heard about it yesterday from a friend who was also at the airshow/birthday party that i attended. She was there and mentioned something electrical related. She didn’t stick around for further details and ended up going to the Octoberfest in Anaheim at the Phoenix Club.

That's what I saw on my search. Electrical fire that firefighters responded to. When they opened the underground room where the issue supposedly was things went boom. Hopefully all are alright and Oktoberfest will go on.

I personally think it was the best yr of the 4 yr’s that Huntington Beach was the host.I didn’t take any pics but Brian @uhplifted sure has posted some goodies.

@ODNAREM FYI The city of HB signed a 5 year contract, I think next year (2020) is the last year?

Anyway, it was an awesome show. Best one by far IMO.

The issue is the lack of profit. The city doesn’t generate enough money to foot the bill is what I heard despite charging double for beach parking, private seating on the pier, and selling merch at high prices.
    Too bad though, awesome show.

I think its to be determined after what happens after next year. I know that in the first 2 years the city wasn't getting back what it had expected. Most airshows are free (on bases) or close to free. I'm pretty sure they are just looking to see how it boosts local business revenue.
