    Thanks for the heads up. I camped down there years ago and it was a memorable time! It's a shame that folks trash beautiful places like that. I don't blame em for shutting it down...

    South sauty has some decent spots on the lake. It rarely fills up.

    I kayak fished at south sauty some, but not too familiar with the camping setup. I fished a lot below the damn, up paint rock creek. We caught some monster 20 - 30 lb stripers when they were running!

    That could be an option. There are trails i still want to run and it a good place for fishing as well. Probably could find a nice quiet spot along the river. @tweakit88 might know of a spot?

    That place could be a big tank trap when it rains hard! lol It was dry as a bone that day and still mud holes everywhere!

    Matt and i went there when it had down poured for 3 days straight and was still raining that day and there were some mudholes that would swallow your truck but everyone had a bypass and i didn't get stuck once lol somehow.

    Im still good for the original spot though if @Leman wants too

    Yeah, some of them holes will swallow your truck whole. I'd imagine the river would be too high to cross as well?
