Looks good! What load rating did you get? I see a 116 and 123.

i loved my ridge grapplers at first,E-load..54 lbs, now with 20,000 miles. 1/2 worn down and pretty dam loud, they were quiet at first, i would not buy them again.. im considering the general grabber ATX... 265/70/17... tire rack... 660. then 100.00 visa card rebate,,, standard load this time,, end price 560.00 with visa card rebate...

Since we are on Nitto how about their straight mt the trail grappler? It's what started me looking at everything anyway. Wally World has them in the 123 load for 226.13

The SL wildpeaks are grippy but will wear out around 30k. The E rated are a far tougher rubber but can break loose on cold wet roads on the take off. Fine in the turns, but wouldn’t push them. I’m running the E ones now in a 285. The E rated Wildpeaks rides better than the SL for some reason too.
Duratracs are a good all around tire, better than a ko2 especially in the wet snow. But they have a weaker sidewall if you’re wheeling them. And can hydroplane in aggressive downpours.
The toyo above are a nice tire works decent for most everything, wear well for most. Can get loud as they wear
The cooper stt pro is what you want, aggressive, wears well, great in everything, wet, snow, mud on and off-road. Is siped and not loud as they wear like the toyo tend to get. The st maxx is another option decent for most all situations. I found them shit in mud, packed snow. Don’t clear well enough. Tread gums up.
Stt pro, E rated wildpeaks/or toyo ridge grapplers either rating

funny that you say you've only seen Maxxis in in the dirt bike world, because I've only ever heard of both from motorsports. Maxxis makes great mountain bike tires too lol

I like my Cooper ST MAXX but I've had no luck finding a time to wheel them other than rough access/FSRs. My area is heavily Jeep elitist with people bitching and moaning about anything that isn't a Jeep and I prefer not to go alone as I don't have any recovery gear other than some mounts/shackles. I've heard good things about Yokohama MTs too and from what I can tell they're a little cheaper than other brands. Maybe someone can chime in.

Well down to the Toyo MT and the Nitto TG MT lol. Think I'm leaning toward the Toyo since I've had such good luck with their tires in the past.

I haven’t had them for long but I would say Cooper ST Maxx is the best tire I’ve ran. Aggressive yet comfortable and quite on the road

Thanks for all the help everyone I just picked up some Toyo Open Country M/T 265/75r16. I really liked the hybrids by both Nitto and Toyo but I'm worried they won't pull the really long plateau hills I will be running. Now do I want to mount these on my stock wheels or grab a set of aftermarket rims to put the mudders on and I can rotate between them.

If you got the spare cash get the aftermarket rims, have two sets of tires.

That's what I'm thinking too because I have my tpms sensors from my Tundra still and I can put them in the new wheels. Pretty sure they will work. Guess I can start looking at wheels now those Ray 10s look nice.. Any suggestions?

I went with 265 75 16 wildpeaks, very happy.. Ive done some off roading and they have done well. Once they wear out im going bigger, lift, rims and gearing. Wht not, only live once

Love my 265/75/16 Duratracs. Very aggressive thread, but not as loud as they look. C or E load tire and has the 3 peak snow designation on it. Also has a great rain rating.
