Racking my brain with suspension crap.

I have decided on the JBA UCA's.

I'm torn b/t the OME and Dobinsons suspension.
The OME will have roughly 760lb rating(if I combine my HD's with the el46xl leaf) where Dobinsons will have 880lb. I'm more concerned with weight carrying than lift. I think 2" will be more than enough for my uses.

It all depends on which will look cooler. I mean, you're overlanding, right?

Sounds like the dobinsons would handle it better?

I would think. I started a thread, so hopefully I will get some info from folks with the actual firsthand knowledge.

I have no clue with this suspension either. Max says the JBA UCA's are great, so that sealed the deal on those. I know OME and Dobinsons have great reps(Dobinsons more so in Australia), so it's more of which one will handle all the weight better. I don't need super flexy/desert running/rock crawling stuff.

I don't have any experience with any lifts. All my previous vehicles have been left stock.

I've never done anything to a truck before or lifted anything with leafsprings, just the Jeep with coilovers.
