There's something about the seat positioning that's not right. I had a 1999 Taco that was by far the most uncomfortable vehicle I've ever owned. Long trips were fatiguing and made me not want to drive it. I think it was becsause the front of the seat was way too low. I eventually got rid of it because of that. the 2019 is much better but still doesn't feel quite right. No other Toyota I've ever owned had this problem. My next mode will be to raise the front of the seat.

My seat is very comfortable. Did you seat in it prior to purchase?

maybe try the pad? It has great reviews. “Best car seat cushion for long drives 2019”

    Hi,
I'm really looking for opinions on the spacing of the KCs...with this upTOP Overland rack you can put them just about anywhere...I've tired different combinations and this one gives me an "open but still square" feel...but I don't completely love it and can't figure out why...thoughts? Note the smaller lights are my first responder emergency lights...they too can be moved. I had several older bothers to I can take "advice" :smack:

I find the seat to be comfortable or at least not uncomfortable. Maybe it just has to do with a persons height? Dunno, suits me just fine. :notsure:

I think so. Height, weight, body mass index, frame, body habit. I’m sure all of those come into play.

When I bought it, I test drove it to get a feel of the truck, seemed fine to me.

Is it the appearance that you don't like or the actual light pattern?
Appearancewise I think it looks fine. As far as function goes I'd have to leave that to you.

Thanks Bob, the light pattern is going to be decent (haven't rewired them) but any forward position gives best...the "look" of them is kind of like a Rook in chess...I'm trying to let that sync in...

I don't think you can go wrong with the spacing as far as appearance goes as long as it's symmetrical. I think the way you have it now looks fine. How it looks to me doesn't matter, it's all about what you're happy with.
You might try it a couple of different ways and see which look grows on you. Take some head on pics with different configurations and study those for awhile, maybe that'll help you decide on the appearance then see if the light pattern is what you want.

From a strictly appearance standpoint, I would try and stick the first responder lights in the fairing's open slots, then add 2 or 4 more KC's and space them evenly out.

If u think im the only one that thinks these seats suck your out to lunch. The lack of positioning sucks...no tilt...hip knees hurt on long drives .
