I've got a double high one (not wrist pad obviously, not sure of original purpose) on the door arm rest. It raises my left elbow to just right height for resting and holding the wheel while cruising. Anyway, my point is that it has lasted two years of regular use and no issues from it yet.

seemed to be the to go from what I read. Heads up that same company does make one that has a much more flexible mount, but don't fall for that, it has a totally different wiring harness that doesn't work with the unit I used and listed above.

Honestly, that module is $30 cheaper than the anytime camera camera kit and IMO 10x more elegant of a solution.

I have the same issue, but I got one of these which helps, especially in conjunction with the bed mat. The ends fit right in the slot in the bed, and stick very well so you don't have to push on the inside of the bed too hard.

This mod has gotten a whole lot of mileage lately. I wish I knew who the OP was so he could get the credit for a really good idea.

just tried to look up the module on Amazon and it is out of stock...

I’m thinking I’m doing this as soon as it is available.... getting tired of getting in and out while wheeling... this would help mitigate that

Aw, he looks like a fine co-pilot. My co-pilot's name is Coda. She's young, and I'm just trying to get her not to run around the cab and shift gears while I'm driving. The truck is an AT, so it's wholly unnecessary.

    Thank you.

Doggie seat belt attachment might work for you. No one thing works for every dog but it might help. Just a thought.
Yeah, changing gears on the fly could be dicey. Good luck Bud.

Many complaints about the seams splitting and the gel leaking out. I can just imagine the mess that would make.

Confused. I did this the second night of owning the truck. A month before I ever learned of TW. (arm pad , not knee pad. Though I did do one of those in a '77 Mazda RX-3SP way back when. Simple foam cushion - no "mouse" pads in those days - and it was for the right knee against the center console.)

X-bull from eBay. Cheap ($54) and effective. Helped a beached bmw get out of the sand this past summer

If he & I were in the same state I'd ask him to autograph it for you. But haven't been face-to-face with him in a while. Last place was T/Sgt Chapman's MoH banquet at Eglin a year ago this month.

I'm actually using one of those. She's got some border collie in her and does some crazy gymnastics. If I have her plugged in to a back seat, she will manage to flip around and land in the front passenger seat. Then my truck gets mad thinking somebody is sitting in that seat not wearing a seat belt (I guess there's a weight sensor?) I've been strapping her in the bed lately, but I'm going to have to work on another solution for the next couple months until my shell comes in.

Sorry. I didn't see your mod for this if you had posted it. What I saw was specific to this particular pad and I'm by no means taking any credit for it or taking away credit from anyone that's done the same or something similar. My only goal is to pass along something that initially didn't get much traction but after doing the mod myself felt the need to have it revisited. Regardless of who came up with this I think it was a great idea and I always love it when someone thinks outside the box.

exactly why I got it. As soon as it's back in stock, grab it, they go fast. They do come directly from Hong Kong, but the delivery estimate on Amazon was way longer than it took. I got it in about 1.5 weeks and the estimate was over a month.

Seat belt extension on ebay would fix that seatbelt chime, the rest you'll have to figure out. Repetition, repetition, repetition! All comes down to which one of you can be more stubborn. Maybe some Frisby time to tire her out some and then a short ride afterwards reinforcing commands to sit still. Repetition, repetition, repetition! Just a suggestion that may work for you. Good luck Bud!

The Car-Solutions module is the RFCC TTG2. Do not get the TTG1, will not work for 3rd Gen trucks.
Per Car-Solutions they are out of TTG2 modules at the moment, more ready first week of November.
