my heart is in doing stupid shit on the street, i've turned it way back since i've started racing but my 50% effort in the canyons still makes people think im fucking nuts.. spending so much time outta control has taught me a ton about control.

I had a customer drop one off at my place for a couple days (turned into a couple weeks because he couldn't make time to come get it). I was building a tube bumper for it. They're a shit ton of fun. I had "test drive" it to make sure all the electronics were in working order before and after I worked on it.

Never done a wheelie, squids are total trash.
I've put 50k street/mtn miles on 2 sport bikes in full gear. 100k miles, I've seen it all and lost friends.
I normally silently judge and stay away from riders just based on how their TIRES look. I would listen to the guy with balls of rubber from edge to edge on both tires.

Are you the green 98 avoiding the guy that lost the front?
Braking hard, with the rear tire off the ground, in a corner, avoiding accident. And no ABS. Inconceivable!

Not at all inconceivable and a great bit of braking skill to do it. I don’t think anyone has argued that ABS is better than skill, it’s just another option that can be of huge benefit when needed. A bike with ABS can do that same hard, controlled stop but a bike without ABS can’t prevent the wheels from locking up if you snatch the brakes too hard or the surface condition changes under you while braking.

No, it cant. I can out brake ABS users. ABS has actually almost made me crash.

nah, guy on the ground that just tucked the front. 98 is my besty trying not to run me over. If he had ABS, he would have ran me over probably

    this isn't very nice now...
honestly be real, riding wheelies is just another skill of being a good rider
some have the skill others don't
just like the ability to drop a knee properly
not everyone is a full package rider

bike control is everything, I think this is something we could all agree on...

I only do wheelies when I can.

yamaha wr250r is a great bike. The blue one in front is my wife’s WRR a few weeks ago.

Jesus go away for one day and miss an abs battle lol. I would never ride a bike with ABS but its different strokes for different folks I guess. Never been in a motorcycle accident and that includes on the non ABS dyna with a stupid long stopping distance that I've been riding for going on 17 years. WR450F Supermoto, 2002 Dyna, 2002 F4I. Sometimes I look at the newer bikes and recently owned one (FZ07). I love the non ABS, non TC, cable throttle bikes and won't change unless my bikes get stolen.
