I've got the same issues. If it's not the A/C drain being plugged then someone said it could be the seal on the windshield that starts to crack and leak over time. They cleaned out the drain plug when I got my frame replaced the other week so now I just need to have it rain so I can figure out if that fixed it or if it's the windshield.

 

my '97 S10 used to get wet floors when it rained, so i took the carpets out and drilled small holes in the floorboard to let the water drain. problem solved!

then a few months later i decided to actually track down and fix the problem. it was leaking through a welded seam in the wiper mechanism area, so i poured about a quart of rustoleum into it (most of it ran out the drains on either end of the thing) and it actually got into the cracks in the welds and sealed. it never leaked again.

 

don't wait until it rains, use a garden hose so you can pinpoint it.

 

curious if what i circled in red below is what the fresh air door thing looks like when it is closed and recirc air is on?
i have had a horrible vibration at highway speeds (65 and up) this year when I have fresh air coming in, it seems to stop when I close the door for recirc air
... not sure what the vibration is going on in there?

Me too I had a leak and it was driving me mad. Turned out the windshield was the culprit. The molding/seal around the windshield goes bad and the glue dries out, then it is why water gets in.

While bringing out the hose is a way to find a leak, here's a quicker one: On the outside, spray soapy water around the edges of the glass, then from the inside of the truck, go around the edges of the glass with a blow gun. The soapy water will foam right where your leak is

 

No that is just part of the cabin intake that price doesn’t move only funnels air into the bottom where the filter is

 

Are you replacing u-joints??
