Alabama thread!

Have limited space and need a saw that can serve multiple purposes. For the things I do with metal and wood, a descent cold cut saw will do everything I need it to do

 

Not sure how well itll cut wood since the saw speed is lower than a wood saw... I'm sure itll work though.

 

I have a 120tooth blade at the house for it. Supposed to work pretty darn good

 

I would love to have another hard cover. The soft one isn't as good for me.

 

Gotcha. I've got two separate saws for wood and steel so I've never done any research in the matter. Would be nice to have a saw that did it all though.

 

I did a whole bunch of reading into the saws before I decided on one.

 

i read that and holy moly he went at him on his profile, i just could never find out where it was even remotely justified.

 

I'll be interested to see how you like that saw you're getting. I had just had too many problems with less than professional level tools for cutting steel I just went ahead and bought the best I could. I still have no regrets. I use that saw all the time and its made me a lot of money with the time I've saved.

It is rare that I spring for the lesser quality tool. This one has very good reviews, so I’m going for it. It’ll either be good or a lesson learned.

 

Hopefully good. If your like me, you've had enough lessons learned with money at least. Lol.

nah, learned that one from my dads Ford. The Chevy did alright.

 

Truth. My dad had an old Ford Ranger. Same story.

 

They are nice when you are packing a lot for sure. I built mine too but those spindles and latches are pricey.

 

Might I ask what you want for that fine beast?

 

I found a smoking deal on here from a guy that bought the 4x innovations latch and hinge and never used them.
