Only camp at the slab if your heavily armed and sleep with one eye open. Not a good place to spend the night.

Heavily armed is my middle name. We'll have dogs too, so they'll be a great alarm!

We could always head up to skyline and camp. Most of the gates should be open for deer season by now

I would advise against it regardless of how armed you are.

someone on drugs with no regard for their own life is nothing to mess with.

I've been through some trying situations in my lifetime that I have definitely learned a lot from. Bad guys on drugs in the woods, shouldn't be concerning you if you have a plan and a means.

@Leman Im down for the orginal spot. I mean we are a friendly group of guys so im sure if they bother us we can just tell them what the deal was and that we spoke to another ranger and he said that it was cool but if its not cool with him we will leave. I dont think we will have a problem though. If that happens probably just find a place on the water and camp.

We can always go camp out at Esom Hill, Ga. Camped there a lot when younger and tons of woods to get lost in out there as well...lol

Let’s do it! Bring some garbage bags and let’s clean up some while we’re there.

I'm with @BamaTaco56, its not a good place, 50/50 odds on not having trouble is not worth a night of camping when they are so many other places.

Is the slab that bad? I grew up camping in Esom Hill/Borden Creek area and it can't get no worse than that!
