I have 265/75R16 KO2s on factory rims on my 2004 Tacom. I also have about a 2" or 3" lift. The tires rub a little on the UCAs and I was considering getting new rims anyway. So what size rims would be good to keep the tires from rubbing? My tires are getting a little old so when I get new tires I'll probably get some rims at the same time.
    Thanks.

    That’s crazy. ‍♂️
I have the same size tire with a factory Pro 1 inch lift and have zero rub.

I guess that’s the difference between a 1st gen and 3rd gen. It’s really not that bad of a rub but I figured since I’m going to buy new rims I should take care of it then. Nice truck by the way.

Yeah I’m not to familiar with 1st gens. I’d figure anything over a 2inch lift would be good to go but I guess that just shows what I know haha

If you don't want to go to aggressive with the wheel stance, go for something like the Level 8 MK6 that comes in 16x8 with 0 offset. These dimensions will free up a few millimeters at the UCA and will stick out an additional inch or so over the stock wheels.

It’s more like Fuji to Granny Smith. Both are apples no doubt, just taste and look different.

I definitely thought about that. But I’m set on changing out the rims anyway when I get new tires.
