    I thought they always reused the parts if possible, it's just the calibration that costs extra / makes it more expensive. I just now started seeing commercials use that in advertising, "and we'll even recalibrate all your fancy gizmos when replacing your windshield, no trip to the dealership".

    They didnt have to re calibrate anything when they replaced mine. Over 600 miles since replacement and everything functions normally.

    i got my windshield replacement quoted at $300 and that's after confirming it was for the models with TSS. OEM glass would have cost more but not that much more.

    ..... $350 from a reputable local mobile glass company.
    No complaints, glad I didn’t get ripped off at the stealership
