I know this I a football thread but can’t help to mention that the Atlanta Braves just pulled off the most Atlanta thing yet.

I saw something on FB. to be honest I dont really follow baseball. Not since the strike in the 90's. that killed it for me. I do enjoy going to a game in person, and being a GA native and living and working ATL as long as I did, I wish the braves well.
also everyone is so damn offended now a days. damn buttercups everywhere.

 

So with me slaving away at work I am out of the loop for this week. What are the noteworthy games this weekend?
I know Florida is awaiting an ass kicking from LSU, but who else plays this weekend.

Neither I nor anyone that I know gives a fuck about horns down.

You know why? Because Texas fan would never have or spend money on anything related to ou. And who ever made that unless they are a criminal( who are we kidding everyone in oklahoma is a criminal) they had to pay the university of Texas for the trade marked longhorn logo.

It makes sense for ou to do the horns down because they are our rivals.
This kinda shit baffles us


I still have no idea why they think they are our rival. Although they are approaching aggy level annoyance. From now on I will refer to wvu as mountain aggy.


Now to address the taunting penalty aspect of the horns down. I remember in a press conference when Herman was asked about the horns down he said he didn’t care then he smiled and said but we’ll take the 15 yards every time.

Not to be political but I HATE WVU. They are a state that has been royaly F'd by the EPA, but yet WVU turns in VW for something nearly everyone does.

 

Who in the hell would do that? Guess it would be like @stronghammer getting a Big Al upside-down tattoo. It's never gonna happen.

That was a good season. It was a good thread that year, too. I miss some of the regulars from back then. Maybe they sold their trucks or something? That's no excuse, though. I sold mine and I'm still here.
