Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Went up to Mather over the weekend for the airshow with a buddy. Jumped on the chance to tour Doc, one of the last two remaining B29 superfortresses currently flying. Texas women's university also has a flight program and they have a B25 Mitchell.

 

headed from merced to lemoore and fresno then back to merced tomorrow (10OCT). Then will be going merced to modesto next week if anybody needs something (Trail Gear, Marlin Crawler, Brute force, etc)

 

I went and saw the one they have at Castle a couple years ago. Pretty amazing.

No power up here in lots of the butte county area. Tried getting fuel last night when I got off work and decided to skip the long lines. Returned later in the evening and the lines were even longer.

Winds are pretty gusty but nothing too strong. No ice or generators to be found at any stores around this area

 

I’ll have to check that one out sometime.

I’ve got about 60 if anyone needs a drink or 7. Figured I should fill the fridge up so it’d stay colder longer

 

Spotted at Howe bout Arden. Turned into Round Table Pizza parking lot...

 

I'm needing a fuel jug or 2 for the garage (for weed eater, blower, spare gas for boat, etc). Hate all the California Air Resources Board bullshit. None of them work correctly or efficiently. Anybody have any recommendations? What do you guys have? VP style cans? Jegs? Jerry Cans?

(Most of these are not even available to ship to California but looks like you can purchase about anything on ebay)

 

I like buying mine in Reno for that very reason.

although my last gallon canister I was desperate and bought locally. It’s a pain but not as bad as I thought it would be.

 

Jesus Christ so many people don’t know how to drive in Napa with the lights out. Seen so many people almost crash. So many people running lights like “if it’s off it must be green.”

 

We lost power at the main branch. We were suppose to lose it here in winters. Still here. Most the town is closed. So we had ceviche. Such a hard day at work

 

i need to go up and have lunch one day since you're so close to me now. Or i can drive by real slow on the way to the lake and you can just jump in the boat....cooler is stocked.

 

And power is out.
