    I'd also bring along some hi viz tape to tie off to the limbs of trees. That way you can mark where you took your shot from, where your found hair or blood and help to build the trail. Leave them over night if it gets too late and you can pick it back up in the morning. Just don't forget to pick it all up when you find your deer.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Well... I live in California. Where we banned Mt. Lion hunting in 94. Banned hunting Bear and Bobcat with hounds in 2012. Where they have re-introduced Wolves that are twice the size of what was native. And are now, days away from outright banning Bobcat hunting all together.


    So... Now, I don't some much "hunt" as I strap on my backpack and rifle and then search for unicorns in the forest. Because some times it's seems like it would be easier to find a unicorn than an f'n deer.

    No worked too hard setting up wedding,one guy had a good friend in town and put him in my son,s stand.never bow killed so told him to shoot first one he likes even though we manage the farm, he shot a small buck..

    we hunt private land that borders NF with no acess,the boys have a GPS type apt on their phone that works with no cell service.like $20 bucks a year..
