No chains needed. Drive slow if slick. A tow strap might be more useful if you’re set on bringing something. Now if you go off road/trail blazing...

I'm not opposed to the idea. I do have front and rear lockers, a winch, and some trail tampons.

So hard to say. I drove from Bozeman to Coeur d'Alene Idaho in December two winters ago. Did 70+ the whole way and drove back the same day. Was running Cooper ST Maxx tires.

In the winter we never know what'll happen here. LoL The roads were "clear" but it was -20F the entire day.

Anybody run two different wheel/tire sets for summer and winter here? I was thinking about setting up two complete sets but I am running into the fact that you have to program different sensor sets. Seems like that might be an issue, curious if anyone has a good solution?

You can buy a set of programmable sensors and set the IDs to the same as your stock set.

Ditch the TPMS sensors all together? Don’t have them in either set of wheels.

OK that's what I was thinking. I have a set of sensors from the wheels I bought ('16 TRD OR) but cloning the sensors seems like the way to go. I have to take the rig to Ressler tomorrow anyway so I'm planning to chat with them and see what they say.

I didn't realize it was going to be quite so complicated. Story of my life.

You gotta get one of those solar powered heated rods for winter fishing.
