A few additions to make me feel cool.
I think that one was a little more on the 2 and is what started his whole "I am not lifting" campaign. Then I think it was the 4 who did not lift and took Brad out at the next race so we have not heard much from that. The 24 did start the one that turned the 42 on it's lid on the last lap last time out though. No cars that mattered were caught up in that one though.

And, I predict he'll win either Martinsville or Phoenix in the next round, to make his way into the final 4 for the 1st time.

Looking forward to some good racing. Just hope the ass clowns that aren't in contention for the championship dont screw it up by making a bone head move and taking out half the field. Most have already been mentioned but for some reason they just can't help themselves. :annoyed:

Not feeling it. I was down with the current-gen body style when the grills were inserts. I'm still young-ish but I've followed the sport since I was in my single-digits, so there's some scope to my experience. I don't like the wheels, I don't like the hood vents, I don't like the chopped back end. I wonder how the exhaust going right under the driver's butt will feel.

I'm a bit of a purist- to a point, and to a fault. I believe we need to take it back to pre-1987 when factory body panels were required.

Let them do what they want with the fenders, but everything from nose, hood, roof pillars, roof-line, rear decklid, and the rear bumper should be stock body panels. Give them ride height again (4" minimum ground clearance).

Keep the good ol' 5-9 hole Basset wheels, not these oversized, ugly rice-y looking deals. Going to single-lug like INDYCAR is fine.

You know me and how I feel about the tires. They need to be slimmed up and changed to bias ply. This could be a fun combination for car-control, especially if paired with a mandatory 4.0 engine. The last time NASCAR downsized cars & engines (1981), we saw one of NASCAR's most popular eras of growth.

Maybe the wheels will be by weight and they can change the cosmetics? Or at least have some choices

who knows, I am sure they cool better and allow for larger brakes but they ruin the look of the car and I can't wait until one explodes after a large impact.
