    Sometimes I rub our long haired tabby cat backwards just to make him look 2x fluffier than he actually is...he's never amused by it, but I am

    Otis loves his hair rubbed back and forth. Every time we come home he does what we call “rolly poley,” where he lays on the runner and rubs his side. He looks up over and over again until we come over and rub his exposed side back and forth. He will go on for 10 minutes before he gives up one one of us coming over. Looks like a dog rolling in the grass. I think he partially identifies as a dog.

    Getting the sprinklers winterized today. Had a snow storm so pipes are frozen and had to fill buckets of hot water for our sprinkler guy. Otis LOVES any form of running water and about lost his shit.

    I actually got our camper and garden hose drained and winterized. I watched the weather and they said it would be in the 20's starting Tues night...

    Anything he can explore, he will forget al about treats if we put grocery bags down.
    Running water is his favorite though. He scratches at the sinks until we turn them on.

    Otis just did his nightly routine.. he hides behind the curtain and we put a hand back there, he jumps up to “boop” it and sprints away. He will stop and turn around to make sure we are chasing him. Then he comes back and does it several more times. This happens every night and every morning.

    We call out, “where’s Otis?” and his tail starts going. All I can picture is Peter Griffin giggling.
