Hey guys so i am a little curious. To those who swapped grilles, what is that little connector attached to the bottlem of the grille? The one that doesn't really connect to anything. The piece that actually comes out with the grille, i think... I forgot to take a pic

I have a 2018 TRD OR with TSS. I don't remember what you are describing.

Is your vehicle equipped with TSS? I can't remember which trims have it.

Damn, so now I'm baffled by what OP could possibly mean. Only sensor I remember is TSS.

That's the only thing I saw when I swapped out my grill.

Now I remember. The piece actually does not come out with the grilled but is retained on the frame. A bundle of connectors gets split. One goes right into the TSS sensor, right behind the Toyota emblem. The other goes to the bottom of the grille area and is attached to the frame, opened and unconnected.
It's used for a block heater sounds about right. Both 19's V6's and 4 bangers have this. I and my buddy were staring at it for awhile trying to find something to connect to it lol, we thought we were missing something.
