What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Been there done that with the PLASTIC cars on a metal highway!! Muscle cars and the way people drive---does not compute any longer. To each their own though. Like I used to ride bikes too. NO longer, not on these highways. Do not know how that I survived this long with the shit that I have been through! NOT going to push it though. MELLOW, mellow, mellow....... LIVE LONG AND PROSPER! My time to ramp it down.

I hear you loud and clear...I just can't slow down. Must...follow...Newton's first law of motion. My body may seize up. My relaxation is doing yardwork, detailing our vehicles, & wood working. I guess I'm kind of a hyper guy. Also been know to be an A-hole too.

Well my reaction is to get the bones mended, cuts stitched, & knees fixed every time I hurt them. I consider myself a fat boy at 6' and 200 pounds. If I didn't move a lot, I would be 300 pounds. I just love the outdoors and doing something all the time. I'm not much on watching TV unless it's automobile related.

 

Rodger that, BUT going down the hi way at 140 mph is NOT burning any calories, just gas? No?

 

Adrenalin burns calories, right. And it's 194 MPH top speed. I'm just a junkie at heart.

 

Yea. At 140/194 MPH wouldn't feel a thing. Neither would the little kid on the bike? Not you, just putting it out there.

 

That's why they make race tracks. I drive like an old man in town, plus I drive a Tacoma.

You know Craig, you live in Louisiana there must be many opportunities to paraglide, zip line, long line parachute behind a boat that will get you the rush? If that is what is needed? You know that a little Parasail with a little motor will get you to about 1500 feet elevation? Plus not cost $89,000 to start? Now that would be a RUSH! I think. Just a thought.

 

Too many mosquitos in Louisiana, JK. Never been paragliding but I do the rest of the things. I'm surrounded by water at home & work. I used to do ALOT of boating, just not as fun anymore. I live half of my life on the water that I cannot get away from when at work. It's the life I chose, no complaints. Just doesn't interest me as much. I also fly in helicopter on a regular basis for work too, probably log 100-120 hrs a year. I've had sports cars, trucks, family cars, etc. just want a Vette to play with. Can't afford a 1967 Vette w/ a 427c.i.(my dream car), so the 2021 is doable. Just another toy like dirt bikes, boats, campers, and Jeeps. Still gotta get the kids out of school first.

 

Wish I still had my 63 Corvette! Damn, 327 in it and ported and polished. 360hp. Four on the floor. Geez. Oh well. Hard top split window.
