That ScanGauge II configuration is correct and I have that set up already.

The benefit to OBD Fusion is that I can log up to 4 PIDs to a file and look back on it later. The more I learn about the slow OBD II protocol (ISO-9141) that our trucks utilize, I may just build my own piggyback computer with a fast processor that can read ALL of the sensors/inputs/outputs on our trucks in order to do much better logging. This may be the project that gets me inspired enough to get back into embedded hardware...

V6 in a regular cab. 95 to 97 only I believe. Might of been ended after 96.

    NEVAAAA!!!

    V6 Single cab 5spd manual 4x4.

Only made from 95-97. Ridiculously fun tacomas. Toyota stopped as it was just "too powerful and dangerous" haha

@1997tacomav6 has a v6 in his ... 1997... (with blower and >600,001 miles). I've been taken for a ride in it, and yes, like the dawg states:
Especially with the supercharger + Meth

Derp, forgot about his truck! Lol

lol. Try a 280hp regular cab tundra with a factory lsd. Damn trucks fast for what it is. Vvti is a wonderful thing. Need to take it across the scales and see what she weighs. Bet it’s around 4000-4200lbs

My Plan is to build the Lil Twrx(Said T Rex).

I bought a multi mode T case so I'll have AWD. Adding a turbo and likely an LSD in the rear.

    So I'll have a turbo V6 5spd 4x4/AWD Single cab Tacoma. It'll be like toyota's version of a wrx...except better!

should be fun. Hoping for 300hp which should be easy enough.

I’ve been toying with the idea of putting a awd transfer case in the tundra. Pop the engine whenever I get the taco done and put the 2uz turbo kit on it..

I bet it is more than that. My mostly empty Tacoma (no bumpers, skids, nothing but sliders) last weighed in at 4600lbs. 2460 front/2140 rear.

After pulling the bed off and feeling how light it was and the fact that it’s a reg cab I have a feeling it’s way lighter than most would think. We shall see

That v8 is pretty heavy... That and the frame on the Tundra isn't made of the thin-ness of aluminum foil ...

1st gen tundra frames are about the same as 2nd gen tacos (mostly c channel). Inter webs states reg cabs at most were 4500 lbs. next time I go scrapping with it I’ll know the weight

My single cab V6 is 3300lbs. The Ext cab adds a lot.

i was thinking it was stopped because of the frame design change in 1998? is this not so?
