TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I got this same set up for now.....DT shorties-URD y-pipe to a URD exhaust....sounds pretty gnarly I’ve always thought. And yes....it gives good power on the low end.

 

Bro I thought the URD exhaust always sounded pretty good, but damn its got a nice growl to it now

 

Lol......I was pleasantly pleased the first time I started it once I added the headers. I still love it 2 years later.....

wow. are our 4x4 oil pans that pricey?

 

Paying for both the upper and lower pans. I haven't checked prices in a while, but they aren't cheap. Rockauto may have them?

 

Nice! Once I get all the goods installed and wanted build out the exhaust but damn CA. Need a CA Y Pipe and Headers damnit!

 

Only due to tune. Plenty of headroom with the 650s without fpr but I am trying it out anyway.

Get something shiny and bake it in mud. Done

 

Pistons are out.

 

if it’s really only visual that’s not an issue everything is baked with dirt and mud already. I was thinking it would not pass smog on a test. a lot of it’s covered by skid plates anyway

 

I not up on the CA laws but unless they sniff test or see an issue I think it will pass.

No idea. I'm cool with swapping our my Y pipe and Intake when it's time for Smog. Takes like half an hour haha

 

800whp 1GR with Tranzilla T56, has recently come to market. So the rumor is.

 

That could certainly simplify things!
The bolt I used was 60mm and is more than long enough. If that 70mm is not too long, the threaded top portion is perfect as a brace support. Way simpler than my idea.
