    That is what my deductible is and has been for 30+ years. I bumped my collision up to $1,000 but I'm afraid to bump my deductible because sure as hell I would hit a deer here in town or one will run into my truck sitting out here in the projects parking lot on the edge of town. Hope the hunters kill them all this hunting season.

    When I hit a deer, the original estimate was low. Then the body shop submitted a bunch of supplements which increased the price by a large amount.
