Fuel filter today. Charged up the ac only to find my evaporator is clogged.

 

Disappointed but at least I got a vacuum on my system

 

Great job on your restoration and combating the rust issues. Keep going, dude! Don't let Father time or the previous owner's negligence make your truck a lesser vehicle.

Did you use POR15 or something on the rear axle?

 

Just learned about por15 today. I used a bonding primer and then engine enamel. I plan to redo it if I get a nice day or in the spring.

 

I love seeing the before and after photos, keep up the good work-- the truck looks great inside and out!

 

Is there a way to better organize the photos? I uploaded most of them haphazardly and would like to show the side by sides better. Does it make more sense to just upload them again?

 

I've painted my frame and axle before. If you use semi gloss paint it's not to shiny but doesnt mud stain as bad as flat or matte

 

You could try to edit the original post, I have not seen any other image controls (slideshow etc.) on this forum.

 

No need to redo. The primer+enamel you used is plenty good enough. Just do a generous top coat with fluid film if youre concerned.

 

Redoing for stock appearance not function. Engine enamel is super glossy

got some pics of a super low mileage rig and I’m trying to get back there.
