Monday is supposed to be nice and sunny, so I'm going to paint my second shipping container finally, at least the side that faces the road. With the leaves falling the ugliness is becoming more apparent to drivery-bys.

Got a wedding Saturday, but will be only around 100 and top notch caterers that basically do our job for us...so should be good.

What kind of commie pinko bullshit is that? I actually don't have Monday off even though all my jobs are basically closed. We work Monday in order to have the the Friday after Thanksgiving off.

I've got the iPhone 10xs Max. I opted for the 256gb version, and this is the first iPhone I've ever owned that hasn't run out of space. I still have like 150gb to fill with video and apps.

I'm thinking of going this route. Get the cheapest smart phone thing they have, I think there is an LG for like $99 total through Verizon. I've always bought the latest and greatest thing out there but the prices have gone crazy since my last one.

Second to last day of paternity leave. Not ready to go back and not nearly as productive as I had hoped it would be. The wife ended up in the ICU last week for a couple of days and it we found out she has a minor heart defect that showed up during childbirth. So that was kinda awesome, I guess. Long term it's going to be a non-issue, but i was pretty scary in the meantime.

Trying to find whatever our new normal will be, and I think that's going to be a "fun" adventure.

I did get my door speakers in this week, though. So that's something. I'm fighting the urge to throw the kitchen sink at it and go all out again.

yup pregnancy and child birth although completely normal life ritual can always throw some surprises at you. glad she's ok. I know I was scared for my wife when the first child came, and I know I will be again when we finally have the second. Good thing is by the time we have another, I'll be able to take 12 weeks with that new health care thing

I break the smartyphones too frequently to bother getting anything more than a bottom-of-the-line unit.

Absolutely. The birth was an adventure (baby got stuck, needed oxygen) and then we got home and all was well until my wife started having breathing issues. She went to her PCP and saw the LPN which dismissed it as an upper respitoary infection. The next day she was worse, called back and a different nurse said get to the ER ASAP. Next thing she's hooked up to oxygen. She's fine now, but figuring out how to balance the 2 year old and the new baby and get everyone out in time in the AM is going to be an adventure.

Thanks! Yeah, I've had an Alpine PWE-S8 for a few years which is okay for bass fill. I just did the ever popular Kicker speakers in the front doors and I find myself thinking I could use some more highs and wishing I had more low. I figure I'll eventually do Kickers in the back doors and then the Subaru / Kicker PnP tweeters. I likely won't do a different sub, although I really, really want to. My STi had two amps, components and subs by the time I was done. My Vette came with a full audio system done, custom enclosure, etc. My buddy had a CarPlay HU left over I just swapped in and that still thumps like I'm 18, so it's hard not to want it in the truck.

I just really don't want to pull door wiring again. I did that with the STi, overgauged everything, etc. It was fantastic, but I think in the end all it did was damage my hearing.

    Glad she is OK.
I'm going to go this route next time because to me all the newest phones get is like one new little gadgetry thing and a slightly better camera.

Sounds like you have your hands full enough with the kids, never mind the cars lol.

I got a 10" android HU for my STi, and for some reason the front speakers aren't working... It's very frustrating, and I haven't had time to screw with it.

The F-250 needs some bass. The seller claimed it had an upgraded stereo. My drive home proved that his claims were false. It is VERY stock

Are you using the factory speaker wiring or pulling new wires? The only time I'd lose audio is when my wife accidentally pulled out my RCAs on my old AVIC since I pulled new wires from the amp to the speakers. I would assume you've either got an incorrect config in the HU itself or have a bad wire.
