Driving threw the cloud line this morning.


Then stopped and found some snow.

 

I have power at work too...

Up to ~500MW at a time!

And none of our wind forecast told us to stop distributing power but we’re pretty local to this area.

 

Surprise they don't shut the power down in other states for the same reason. Been hitting monsoon winds 40+ since yesterday.
Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, and lower Washington. Finally mellowed out below Spokane.

 

Just drive by and honk, don’t break tradition.

 

plan B please..... I have to make sure this gentlemans boat and cooler are working properly if we are going to finance it....seems legit

Lost power at 1am came back on around 8 am. Brother in-law 2 1/2 miles away power still out

 

Quick question for those that have swapped out their front diffs. I just swapped the tube from my stock clam to the ecgs. When turning the driveshaft by hand only the driver side axle splines turn. The passenger side is not rotating.
I transferred the stub shaft over per the instructions and mounted the tube back on. I’m guessing the actuator needs to be active for the passenger side to spin? Just want to make sure I didn’t screw something up before putting this back in the truck


Edit: after reading on how the a.d.d system works this seems normal as only the driver side axle turns in 2wd. The passenger side has a collar that is electrically activated when put into 4 wheel allowing the two piece shaft to become one and this turn the outside shaft.

 

Now when I hear it and don’t see you I ask “Ford or Tacoma?” When someone in the office asks wtf

Still got power in Hayward. SF is unaffected, I still had power at my apartment.

UC Santa Cruz and Sonoma State suspended classes on the account of no power.

 

TV news just showed a graph where four fires caused by PG&E are located.

Power still out here in Oroville. Going on 30hrs now. No winds over night so hopefully power will be restored

That is because California is the only state in the country with "reverse condemnation" where the utility is liable in situations like this.

 

Does that mean that in other states if the power company burns down your house due to their negligence, your sh!t out of luck?
