If by dark side you mean the hole in my wallet that's already begun to happen then I'm becoming very familiar, lol

We're excited though, wife is 6 months along now and the baby is kicking like a mule haha.

    Hey Everyone,
Would love to do the 1st Saturday of the month, but I only get a weekend off every 5 weeks, so some time in Feb 2020 I can go. Great but too far out..
I can go most Sundays, long as I give the wife some notice.
Im a newbie but I’m done Cleghorn several times, Big Bear a few times and Hesperia side to 3N16 several months ago. Fun but the road was in bad shape, huge ruts that could swallow ur truck in not paying attention.
Have several guys at work with 4wheels drives too.
If anyone is going to Big Bear, Cleghorn, Azusa canyon (haven’t been) on a Sunday let me know and I’ll do my best to go, but a weeks notice is best.
    Thanks Don

This has been a pretty active thread for SoCal meets as well. More wheeling oriented. Make friends. Let's not let this die!

Had a good short run. Nothing too crazy, and pretty much called it due to family obligations after the chute.

Looks like a good time. I’m hoping work slows down so I can get out and do some wheeling myself.
    How did the ZR2 do?

I’ll try give future heads up (1 week minimum) when I go with some friends and maybe some folks from TW can link up.

Zr2 did well. Lol he had it in 4hi most of time which we laughed about. This didn’t help him down the chute when he got some slider damage from going down too fast on a rock......however I don’t think my MT taco would have even made it up the small hills in 4hi. (Disclaimer; the zr2, wrangler, and myself are new to off roading)

What made us all laugh was the Jeep Wrangler with no lockers, manual trans, and a newbie off road driver (first time ever on a trail) did everything with ease. Credit to solid axles, and Jeep, as always:fistbump:

With an MT especially it's easy to bog down in 4hi and lose momentum/stall. I'm almost always in 4lo on trails unless we are on a stretch of fire road or out in the sand dunes or something. Any kind of climbing with an MT in my experience and you want to be in 4lo, unless you're hitting it with a lot of speed (not always a good idea)

I'm getting my Kings rebuilt either this weekend or early next week and they should be back on by next weekend
