    Here my advise get the 05 and newer fronty the boosted 3.3 is rated at like 210hp. The 4.0 is 265hp and scoots, fully boxed frame, it’s shares a platform with the titan similar transmission and D-44 rear end. It’s a well built midsize however the seating position and turning radius are terrible. However stillen makes a SC for the 4.0 that’s the way to go.:thumbsup:

    also 4 wheel disc brakes since 05.:annoyed:

    Agreed but the downfall is the leaf springs not coil setup also not a lot of options if you start looking to mod it.

    I just want something cheap that's boosted and manual trans to toy with but mainly to commute to work so I can go crazy on my tundra without worries. My ideal junker would be a 97-98 T100 that I can throw on a SC, long tubes and straight pipe haha. But it absolutely must be a manual

    Ya that’s what I had Cajun stage 2 with the resonators and had a magnaflow 24in muffler that rotted out then put oem one back on along with a airraid cai.:fistbump:

    I've got a buddy in Colorado Springs with a Frontier that he's done a full Titan suspension swap on. Wheels it every chance he gets and loves it. I asked him a bunch of questions when I was shopping for trucks. I settled on the Taco because of reliability and better aftermarket support.
