Decided to check out this little park area and took a few shots of my truck. Very happy with the new Firestone Destination A/T2 tires.F26A7911-B3DB-411C-A3BC-B6035660846F.jpg0DB9B9CB-7F6B-4C35-ADF2-4E6CF750A06F.jpg

To the right of my rear plate is my ARB air hose connector.

Long day in the sun and forgot to put it away properly, ended up getting pinched between my pelican case and the jack plate on my flats boat. Could have been worse, that jack plate was the only thing keeping it from falling off the boat. Also, went up to the z6 and love that camera so another plus. Got almost $500 off ebay for the damaged body too after found out from Nikon it was a gray market camera from Amazon.

Range day over the weekend with some friends and spent more time with the camera than a rifle.

The Z6 sounds nice. Between my Nikon D300S, P900 & now my iPhone 11Pro, I’ll stay where I’m at for now. Good luck with your new camera.

New to the taco world but I am an amateur photographer as well! I need to get some new lenses to take good photos of my truck, right now my best lens is a zoom which doesn't do well with profile shots.

I run a Nikon D7200, anyone have recommendations for lenses?

You can always use the good ol' foot zoom method.

Very true, will likely be doing that until I get a good portrait lens

Love the Z6 with the 20mm Nikon 1.8G lens, very light and compact and great for astro. Colorado Mountains in July 2019.

For most stuff I use a Nikon 18-300 mm VR zoom on my D300S & love it. You can check out a shorter zoom for less that may do fine such as the Tamron 18-200mm. For fixed lens, I’d go 35 or 50mm. You’d have to try them out to suit your preference.

Does anyone here use a fixed lens for their truck photo shoots? I am looking into Nikon 1.8 50mm and i'm curious if anyone runs a setup like this.

Prime (Fixed Focal Length) lenses are the sharpest lenses

    I don't use primes much, but when you have a 16-35 f/4L IS, 24-70 f/2.8L Mk II and a 70-200 f/2.8L Mk II you don't really need them :p

    Of course...I have a 35mm f/1.4L, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.2L Mk II, 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro and a 135mm f/2.0L.....I have a problem.
