I ordered this exactly set yesterday. I believe Chaser and Restorer are synonymous. A tap and die is what you don’t want.

I’ve done that multiple time, it takes off a lot of material. I re-tapped a water pump bolt hole in that Civic EJ I did a while ago. I could wiggle the bolt after I tapped it. Still held the pump on tight, but it took off a lot of material. It was seized from rust so I had to retap it.

It was a miracle I got that bolt off to begin with. It was so stretched once I took it off.

 

Yeah, it really does. I had to retap the egt probe for the 6.0l and it whistles now because the exhaust leaks when it's under heavy load

There are different thread classes within the same pitch. They differentiate the amount of clearance/tolerance between external/internal threads. Class 3 being the closest tolerance, class 1 being the loosey goosey one. Most chinesium taps are probably class 1 but not labeled. Fun facts.
