I Was getting ready to test that with my laptop. See if I could turn it into a throwing star.

I asked my PM this question today....

"If my laptop is accidentally snapped in half will they give me a new one?"

    The answer was no.

Trust, but verify. You snap that laptop and make sure he's right.

Honestly I was fine with either a yes or a no.

See I accidentally trip all the time, you never know when I’ll trip and drop my laptop while it’s open and it splits in half

If I had been thinking quickly I should have said "great" and snapped the old laptop in my desk that doesnt work anymore. He would have shit a brick.

My play money got redirected to household funds money and I'm not sure if I want to get rid of weatherstripping yet as I don't know my long term path forward. I told him thorw it out and see if anyone else needs it, if it's still around once I recoup funds and get a handle on what my final solution looks like for the roof rack.

I'd love to pick one up but the thing is like 140lbs heavier than stock. Toss on a synthetic winch and you're talking 20% of the rated payload hanging out in front of your drive wheels. Even with some 700lb springs that's going to be shitty for a daily driver.

Ah that would be great. I’ll have to remember that for when my laptop dies. It’s about to die

Not really, though I guess ride quality is subjective. 140 isn’t actually all too bad and is about average for a full steel replacement. Not arguing your other points, but in my opinion I don’t think it’s bad with the proper suspension to handle the weight.

If I had to make a guess my front shiz is around 150-200 lbs. With stock suspension it would wallow occasionally, but not scary. Added the ol' 888s made it much better. I could maybe step up to the next heavier springs, but I'm good with how everything is.

I’m down for that roof rack. Any chance you’d be able to hold it till November? I’m stationed in AK and will be back in VA permanently in November

We’ll probably pass each other while I’m on my way to backpacking. I’ll make sure to wave like an idiot.
