As long as you are OK with being half a state away from any help / human beings and have tire plugs, I'm sure you'd be more Than welcome

Yup that'd be me. One of the better shots I got with my drone before we hiked into the locomotives. I think everyone on that trip is in this photo which makes it even better. Plus the random dude in the lower left and my buddy Colton's truck & canoe in the bottom right

I'll be ready with larger tires, and suspension, ordered my rims the other day 17x8.5 method racing MR305NV, soon as they show up, i'll call up for my tires 265/70/17 Cooper ST MAXX. not that i'll need it, but it'll smooth out the roads a bit at 45-50mph...

Absolutely. Be prepared to camp in northern Maine in the early spring. If you're not sure what this means, ask away. There's at least a century of Backcountry experience on this thread. Possibly two if we include @Grand dude

Tire plugs, food, water, a rain coat....

I was actually planning on a trip to the north woods with Sandra, but probably later in the year.. or 2021.

We want to get a small camper to make life easier on the road. We also have the added problem of not legally being able to cross into Canada.

If it was that easy I think we'd have solved it.

theres very few reasons a US passport is denied... typically child support, fees not paid, probation, or felonies, all the rest are mostly paperwork issues...

Or an immigration problem which means you aren't eligible for readmission to the US.

There are actually a few border crossings scattered around up there.

Aren't they all just for logging? Heard they put up huge resistance allowing passengers vehicles through.
