He had my truck for a front bumper for 6 weeks. Pick up was 2 weeks delayed. Finally I said, done or not, I need it today. Showed up at his house at 4pm, finished building it with him at 11:30 pm. He had started maybe a couple hours prior. Finished most of the welding myself.

Heard he also stole some guys Ranger and hid it when he moved houses. Some sketchy shit for sure.

That said, he does great work

Similar story here, but I don't want to add to the drama. Nice enough guy, the work he did do for me turned out ok, but I wouldn't do business with him again.

I was understanding of the rough time he had we talked about it. Then he blatantly lied to me about parts and Seats he never ordered. I just wanted my money back.

Damn. I didn't know all that about Jeff. My personal business with him went alright. However, the sliders he did make for me didn't do much to protect my rocker panel when it landed atop a rock. Ended up pushing the sliders into my rocker panel, but without the sliders, it would have done way more damage.

I took him to court 2 years ago for taking my money and dipping out. Paid him, he took measurements, and when the deadline was near he'd say he needed another week. Long story short a 2 month job got pushed to 6 months and he stopped talking to me. I won the small claims case but never got my money back.....learned a hard lesson.
