The elevation ASL or above the ground?



My OEM LBJs with 5k miles on them have just the tiniest amount of play already.

 

Wonder if they just aren't built like they were 3 years ago or whatever.

 

Technically OEM parts have a 1 year warranty. Not sure if you'd be able to get away with getting new ones covered every year or not. The warranty likely doesn't cover extreme abuse...

 

well..you don't have to tell them what your doing with them.. haha

 

I'd think they'd start to wonder after 2 sets

 

So @turbodb did you build a sleeping platform for you and Mrs to try out? haha $500 been spent yet?

Did you replace one of your heater cores due to it not working? Or was it just leaking?

My little trucks heater isn't working for shit. Full of antifreeze so it's not low. But won't blow hot air.

Mine stopped working cause the previous owner used stop leak. So I replaced it with a Spectra one. Worked great, takes like 50mins to change

 

Yeah im with Ben here, someone mark this day... But your blend doors might be out of alignment or jammed. Cables can be adjusted

 

You mean the heater valve? Already checked that. It's not stuck. Cable is fine. I replaced the controls last winter. Worked fine all year.

I was mostly asking what went wrong with your core. Couldn't remember. Highly doubt that is my issue.

More likely the valve is broken or my antifreeze is mostly water.

 

Some dials have cables too, depends what year like Dan's is cable but yours isnt
