may be a stupid question, apologies in adavanced but is that grille logo sticker inside or on top of the tss sensor?

 

Believe it just covers the chrome not the sensor

 

but is it inside or on the outside?

 

TVD decals used to have them on their website but don’t see them anymore.

edit: the only kind I have seen are decal overlays which go on the outside.

Bet you are one of those guys that call them round things in the boil "potatoes". We know they are "batatas". No pics because I was busy watching traffic...

I had to go pick up my trailer to move a piece of equipment today. I keep it out at my folk's house. Left there, got about 3 miles down the road, and had the trailer come uncoupled. I just went over a bridge and the trailer start bouncing around, then slam into the back of me. I realized it had come off and stopped on the side of the road. The tongue was up under the back of the truck, but the trailer jack was up between the hitch and the spare. I called my dad to bring me a floor jack, and had to jack the truck up about 8" to get the trailer out.

Somehow... absolutely no damage done. I thought for sure that at least the jack would be bent and non-operational, but it works fine, and zero damage on the truck.

I need to do that tailgate mod

 

That looks great man. I was just thinking about making something like that for the tailgate.

 

What happened? Wrong size ball, no lock on the tongue, or the slider latch broke?

 

It's nice. Gives you a flat surface to put things on, it's easier on the knees, it's a food grade cutting board, and it has two beer holders. Plus it just looks better.

 

Man you must have hit the lottery. You have made a ton of mods since you got this truck a few weeks ago. Don't do all of the mods at once and get bored with the truck afterwards.

Don't know. It's the hitch I use all the time, so I know it's the right size. Could have sworn I latched it, but I guess I didn't. Hitting the bridge is probably what bounced it off the ball. 27 years of pulling everything from a little utility trailer to a triple car hauler and I've never had that happen before today. Fortunately, the safety chains caught it, and no damage was done.

Hah! I got some inheritance, and this is my first brand new vehicle. It's also the first vehicle I've had that I really like, and wanted to work on. I am almost done with the mods for a while. Then comes the adventures with kids and dog (have had some small adventures already). I don't think I'll get bored any time soon!
