68k miles is a bit too much for my taste - especially if the price is close enough to a brand new SR5. Think about it - how many years will it take for you to drive that much miles? Getting a brand new truck allows you to pick and choose what color and options you want.

Regarding the accessories, there's plenty of cheaply priced used parts in the market. Get the ones you want - not what already came with a used truck.

If you are good with negotiations, I bet you can narrow that difference of $3k down to maybe $1k + whatever extra free accessories you can get (always get the all weather mats). And, if you are financing, payments will probably be very similar.

I have never opened the rear window on my 2016. Power window seems like a nice addition.

If you get a V6 in an SR5, it is the 'same' truck as a Limited. Exact same drivetrain, suspension, etc, etc. Granted the Limited is loaded with a sunroof, leather, etc.
But a '20 with 0 miles and full warranty vs. a '16 with 68K miles? For $3K, I'd go new.

Wouldn't you rather be the guy selling a nearly 70k mile truck, for nearly new SR5 price, rather than the guy paying it?
I've historically been careless about vehicle decisions, buying the high mileage dooded up version, only to wind up still paying on an old well worn/out vehicle. I finally bought new, and I'm happy with my decision.

Also check finance rates, that may very well tip the scale. Used rates are usually significantly higher. Of course taxes on the newer will cost you more, depending on your state.

    Stock and staying that way
Drive both. The SR5 is way too spartan for me .

    Well,

I’m pulling the trigger on this limited. The new SR5 would’ve been about 6k more than this one after the deal I got in the end. The truck has been meticulously maintained and all the records to prove it so that’s where I made my decision. Drove it for 30 mins, on highway and off, drives like a champ.
I’ll post pics once it’s in my possession.

At $6k less, that’s definitely a good decision. Congrats OP!
68k miles is nothing if it’s been maintained well. A member on here has 200k+ on his 2016 3.5....

    Very nice looking truck!
Looks like it has MESO turn signals in the mirrors.
Is the hood dented? Or is that a glare?

Not sure many of them failed, they made a bit of noise for more than just 2016, heck if you listen close I bet they are still making a bit of noise. I think they determined that it was sound resonating off the frame or something like that.

Thats a good looking truck congrats, the bonus is that if you decide to make a bunch of mods, you won't have to deal with the safety nannies when adding things to it. I think one of these days the 2016's and 2017's will be in demand for as a solid modification platform if one is modifying a older 3rd gen.

    Nice truck OP!

Looking at that pic, there's a more than reasonable chance the previous owner is on TW lol.

Just my opinion, but with all the goodies on the truck you should definitely lose the air dam!
