So been having a rough start the past couple days, upon starting the idle would fall to 400ish rpms and give a little shutter. Turns out the coils were old and corroded connections so they got replaced and solved the issue.

Also Removed the throttle body and cleaned all the carbon build up, there was a decent amount.

Trucks running great, but now pending a p0505 code (high idle) probably not used to the clean throttle body.

Guna try disconnecting the battery to have the computer relearn.

The code is just pending, we’ll see if the check engine light comes on.

Goddam that is a blurry photo.

    Pending codes = 0

No battery disconnect, we’ll see how long this lasts

Didn't know Yeti made coolers with wheels like that. That's pretty cool.

Congrats on getting hitched also! Driving a kitted out LC in New Zealand sounds like an incredible time.

Well things cant always be fun.

On an expressway that is an over pass about to take an exit. Following a Tesla at fair distance behind. Look down to grab a drink. Look up, Tesla is at a dead stop in the middle of the lane, The brakes get slammed on, I skid into the Tesla (driver side rear) collision pushes me to the left into a Saturn which was a little ahead of the Tesla then....

Telsa sped off!!!! And left the scene

Assessed the situation everyone said they were ok looked at the car & truck, took two photos and moved to a safe location.

From the photo looking at the parts on the ground, you can tell the position of the Saturn on impact in the middle of split.

So it looks like the Saturn cut off the Tesla last minute.

So far looks like the bumper did its job. Not seeing any frame damage :fingerscrossed:

Top of the bumper pivoted back and it looks like it push a little into the AC condenser fins.

    Getting it inspected tomorrow.

Got the truck inspected today. Bumper is bent and the winch put a slight bow in the ac compressor and that’s it.

Finally getting the truck inspected by insurance Monday, it will be interesting to see what I get for repairs.

    Getting back to the build!!!

Ordered some oem LBJs and a break return spring(squeaky clutch fix).

Next week Tundra brake upgrade will be purchased, along with some plate for skids and new bumper.

Been wanting to make my own spring loaded pin for the swing out tailgate and found the old tailgate locking mechanism. Pretty stoked, I like reusing old parts, most likely I’ll just be using the compression spring if I can’t modify the assembly to get it to work the way I want.
