if people were complaining about low end torque... this will solve it better than turbo's and you don have all the exhaust plumbing

That's not really true. Turbos would produce more torque at a lower rpm.

True story. That's why diesel engines have turbos in big trucks, 18 wheelers ...etc.

Depends how much air you're pushing. Turbos produce alot of boost but require exhaust gasses to do it (rpm) .... belt driven super chargers can give you direct throttle boost.

Having owned old turbos and dealing with exhaust leaks that rob power, the exhaust re routing, the easier way for me will be supercharger. Compact belt driven.

Easier? Yes. Best? Depends on installer and needs.

With a supercharger the boost is directly tied to rpms. You can get more boost at lower rpms with turbos....

Turbos are not instant power. belt driven based on pulley size can deliver the power faster .
i own a turbo but i dont own a supercharger. (you can get variable geomerty turbos that acclerate the exhaust gases but those are $$$)

that is usually assumed with needing low end torque.

This engine would pair great with a small snail in the engine bay... 2k rpm 350 lbft torque yes please.

A turbo is going to make more power. Tow with a 3.5 ecoboost and tell me it doesn't have great low end tq. Turbos need load for boost not rpm.

It's nice when towing to hit an incline and not have to increase RPM or downshift to maintain speed. Turbos spool a little more because of increased load and boom you have more power.

I'd much prefer a well sorted turbo setup (factory) than a supercharger. But for aftermarket a supercharger is much easier to package.
