I mean in the mountains they use a little salt. Most of the time though the weapon of choice is either sand or a long-term single application de-icing spray. It can get pretty icy. When it DOES snow, ice is the main issue. The snow is usually wet to begin with and it partially melts in the sun, only to re-freeze overnight. But I think the main reason they don't dump tons of salt is to protect the water ecosystems around here from the runoff. And it snows so infrequently that we just deal with it for a few days when it does. Which is why there are sooo many Subarus out there and AWD cars in general.

But yeah. Cars can actually get old there and never have a rust problem. Pretty neat.

I got a email from one place today like this basically “we got your application but this is for a job in Virginia. Not Texas”

I was like “I know. I need to move there”

I got tested earlier this year. I was worried I might be low but I'm good. Free test was just over 1k at 38yo. It's high for my age but I read that the difference, while good for everyday life, is minimal for strength training, and vanishes after a few years of training.

Prob helps stay lean tho, which is never a problem for me.

Because, obviously, a spy is going to answer that.
