    I had a package shipped from Germany in early September via DHL/USPS. It took 10 days to get it out of Frankfurt to customs in New Jersey, a day to New York City, another 5 to San Francisco, 4 more days to Los Angeles, another 5 to Boulder, 4 more to Sacramento and I just received it early this week. :turtleride:

    do you have some of maybe better picture quality and without fogs on? It seems you have the fogs on in the low beam picture.

    Oh without a doubt. Those are probably going to be sub 600-500 for a pair for all the people complaining about the price for real headlights.

    Yup. I learned my lesson on my last VW. Got a Chinese set and the LED DRL strip in the one housing went bad. Literally no way to fix it without tearing the entire housing apart and tinkering. Wasn't worth the time. Can't tell you how many times I had to mess with those lights, and remove the entire front end... Makes this headlight install look like a walk in the park :rofl: Never again will I buy shitty lights.

    Are these labeled as DOT or SAE approved? Virginia has new inspection requirements, and I’ve heard of people getting dinged for having LED/HID bulbs in housings labeled as halogen only.

    For those yet to install your morimoto headlights, this 8mm ratcheting combo wrench allowed me to get into tight spots - purchased at Home Depot, tools section for $5.77. Also as reported, my light beams pointed down, therefore, to raise my light beams, I ratcheted the horizontal low beam and high beam 8mm bolts counterclockwise.

    Putting hid or led into halogen housings is pretty much illegal in almost all states. But the xb headlights were designed as LED'S from the bottom up. You won't have any issues at all they follow all dot regulations
