I did my cab mount chop. Went wheeling yesterday and it was rubbing like crazy with these new 285/75/16 tires. Problem solved.

 

Just installed a set of front seat risers from Desert Does It. Perfect fitment and an easy 10 minute install. Made the Taco far more comfortable for me.

Installed my industrial grade siren/PA controller in the console today.


Serious aluminum screamer siren under the lower grill mounts up front as well.


Last step is to clean up and wire the lights to the junction box for my rack and light bars, got the multi strand cabling today and will ditch all the test wiring and solder it all up.

 

The best thing about your truck is the Tonka decal.

 

You sure you can’t fit a few more lights up there?

Here you go. Run the wires from the grill around the battery and up the side of the front fender. Can attach to other wires or wrap around other wires to keep them in place. First pic is inside the engine compartment below the factory wiring harness where I ran the wire through the bottom of the rubber boot and the second is inside the truck under the dash where the wire comes through the rubber boot. I used a metal coat hanger to push through the boot then wrapped the wire around the coat hanger and taped it with electrical tape to pull it through. Worked like a charm. TruXedo 556001 Tonneau Cover a while back on Amazon for CAD $338 (about $250 US). The price went up as soon as I ordered it so I presume they made a mistake in the listing. They honoured it and I now have the cover waiting to be installed. The truck is scheduled for delivery next week.
