1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I stopped buying insurance on new phones after my LG. Verizon wouldnt cover it without a $115 deductable. Bought an LG refurb on Amazon for $90 and it lasted another 8 months.

 

Oh yeah the charger port on my LG was trash. If it got a speck of dust in it the cord would fall out.

 

Yeah, I don't either. It died under the factory warranty if that says anything

 

Time to wire this baby up.

These are Suzo-Happ arcade buttons, competition joysticks, and Cherry micro switches.

 

I bought a OnePlus 5T to replace it and when it finally came back from LG it went straight to craigslist

 

It was that new (at the time) USB-C charging cable/port, the new LG has it too but it's slightly different. Hopefully it's been made to be more reliable.

 

I went back to a Motorola Z force, had it almost a year now and its been great.

Literally every person I know with an iPhone has a screen that's shattered or cracked to hell. It took me 3 years to finally crack my LG screen, the Samsung I had before never cracked. I just can't bring myself to get an iPhone they just seem way too fragile

Funny cause you can confuse a lot of people by saying it that way.

I hate Samsung having discontinued their Active line; my S6 Active finally acted up when I was backpacking in Oregon earlier this year.

Before that, I had it with me in Bear Valley around December...it even went into the water with me when I took a quick dip into the ocean and came out fine.

In the industrial controls world we just go by color. Red is closed, green is open. But then it gets really confusing when you throw a PLC in the mix. Cause you can use a NC as a NO and visa versa in the programming.
