SRS and Seat belt warning light

New member 2017 Tacoma Sport love the Truck

Gave a big guy a ride Maybe 400 pounds, as soon as I dropped him off my SRS and Seat belt warning lights are on! They were both solid now the seat belt light is blinking passenger air bag is off stays the same with or with out a passenger.
I searched the forum's
I have disconnected the battery both negative and positive then checked connections under the seat nothing.... everything looks OK. Put the seat back in and connected the battery. Couple questions first is there a weight limit for passengers? Second any advise? I wonder if this would be covered under warranty i'm the second owner under 20k miles
i'm going to call the dealer tomorrow

Certainly a warranty issue. I disabled the passenger seatbelt warning with Carista.

 

Back in the 1980s my cousin's rather rotund wife plopped down on my parent's newly bought couch. Everyone heard a spring snap in half. My mom is still mad about that.

 

Went to the dealer today warranty work they had to calibrate the passenger seat sensor.
I asked if a heaver passenger would cause it they said no.
if it happens again they said bring it back its under warranty.

 

Mine came on yesterday and I bet I disconnect something when I added a net to keep dog in place, Is there just one cable to look for??. I will take a look tomorrow but I need some direction, if there is just one cable or many?

 

Many...don't mess with the yellow connectors...
