I just don't know about the glass. i'll just just drive it........see if something doesn't work. I have that stupid lane assist turned off, first 10 minutes of driving

 

Not to be a nanny but that would be directly on the air bag. I wouldn't mess with the air bag that protects your face. JMO.

 

I replaced the battery in my 2016 today after waking to a dead battery.

 

Well, actually the airbag "COVER" hinges out of the way then the airbag deploys. You do not get the cover in the face. IMHO.

Been waiting on that to happen on my 2016 .. was thinking about going ahead and replacing before winter but i have heard a few guys have the factory battery last nearly 5-years .. just sucks to be stuck all a sudden with a dead battery

 

I hear ya, and I'm sure 95% of the time it happens the way you described. But, adding an emblem cover just added a projectile, and something to possibly get in the way of you and the airbag.

 

Well, not any particular brand, but a smooth file. Smooth is a type of file. There is also a vixen, a bastard which is a coarse file, etc etc, then you have a bunch of woodworking file types, it goes on and on. I would recommend a smooth file. IMHO I have some experience with metals.

 

Exactly. I sometimes find myself miles from anywhere. I do have a jumper pack, and a set of cables, and an aux. battery, but why take a chance.

 

What offset do you have on those wheels?

 

I sure can use those. Where did you get them?

Caliraised (used to be in Buena Park Ca.) sold the caliraised off-road division then moved the rest of the company to Texas.
I live in the Buena Park immeadiate area, drove in today, drove away 2 hours later with sliders. Got a good cash on the barrel price for parts and labor. Side note. I could have put them in myself but .........
