I was surprised at the turnout. It was a lot of people!

Too bad I was only there for like 5 minutes. My son was super tired and wanted to leave as soon as we got there!

HAHAHAHA, THAT was actually a nice meet!!! The other group coordinator, Melvin, was a really nice individual. He came up to me first because no one else had pulled in yet and asked if I "was the one coordinating our event..."???

Anyways, I asked him if he was on TW blah blah blah and even asked if he was able to go to San G and what not? I get a response that he was 2wd and can't really do anything in 2wd blah blah blah and I'm thinking to myself, "my friend had an '09 TRD Off-Road... STOCK... for the longest time and he did shi* in that thing that would amaze...".

It just baffles me when people say that?:rolleyes::cookiemonster: Can a 2wd go on 4wd trails? That is a yes and no as it depends on the trail and which way you go as I have seen and heard it be done, driver experience, group the person is with, etc etc etc. My point being is that some people either 1) don't have the experience or enough of it 2) they think that it has to be 4wd to "fit in the crowd..." and do trails 3) or they're simply posers??? and just MUST HAVE that truck with all that F'N USEFUL, but YET USELESS BLING???!!! o_O:smack::notsure:

Annnnnnyways, @Ulysiss PM if you have questions about radios and I will try to help? Sorry if I blabbered ON and ON and didn't mean to keep you guys from doing other things. I get talkative when it comes to that shi*!!! I'm VERY QUIET at first but then start talking about radios and I just blabber on brotha!!! Like I was saying, "I was asked by my friend's 5yr old, I believe, of why he wasn't receiving the same radio station that we were both listening to and I started talking to him and explaining to him about the affects of an antenna..." He was probably looking at me saying, "dude, I'm only f'n 5yrs old..." and probably wanted to ask me to share the same "good shi*" I was having??? :rasta::rasta::rasta::rasta::rasta::rasta::rasta::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl: But yeah, PM me if you have any radio questions and I will try to answer them for you. Please show Britney the pictures of my radio box I was talking to her about.

    IMG_9680.jpg

HAHAHAHA, I am NEVER gonna get this thing done???:frusty:
    IMG_9684.jpg

This is the cable that routes from the smaller antenna on the back of the truck to the inside of the cab so I can have "options" of connecting just about whatever I want... here just showing I can connect it to HAM or a handheld Scanner depending on the antenna. I would like to get a handheld digital trunking scanner, but they're on the expensive side of things, as well as all the other stuff I want to get :annoyed:.

In the picture you see my Yaesu VX-6r series handheld, which does 70cm, 1.25m, and 2m HAM band, for example. I can also hook-up my Yaesu VX-5r, which has a different band on it. It just gives options with different setups.
    HAM_HT_PigTail_hood.jpg

My old scanner that I still have...
    ScannerHH_PigTail.jpg

@Ozzy_Wuz_Here @Trd420 SO HAPPY you guys were able to make it out there brotha!!!

@icetreye @Airdog HAHAHAHAHA SO GLAD to see you guys last night and was surprised by it as well as seeing Ze and Cory!!!:fistbump:

Finally, @TXpro4X4 Bryan and @Lord Helmet Nick and @Nicklovin :fistbump:

    @TommyG AWESOME setup brotha!!! :thumbsup::fistbump::cheers:

@Trd420 and @Ozzy_Wuz_Here when the peak opens back up, let me know if you guys want to do a night run on a Friday night?

At the very top, right next to the radio towers!!!
    TheTowersOfSantiagoPeak.jpg

At the very top of the peak right next to the radio towers overlooking OC!!!
    IMG_0492.jpg

Anyways, right now, you can only go up half-way, which is still a nice run, but going up the rest of the way to the top is that much better as you can see. Indian Truck Trail is closed down indefinitely. Hearing rumors that the trail to the top of the peak may be opening up soon?

HAHAHAHAHA, I was too busy talking about radios once I got started!!! @Ulysiss Britney was likely thinking, "DUDE, get a LIFE and quit talking about radio shi*!!!" :crapstorm::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

In either case, now I SERIOUSLY feel like a douche when I parked sideways to "save parking spots"!!! There was 2x fairly big Mexican guys that were, more or less, "mad dogging me" right after Tommy pulled in and just basically went inside. Not going to do that again as I felt it could have gotten FUGLY for me pretty quick. Now that I think about it, I think that is why the other host for the other group came to "me" as I was the "aggressor" in his eyes and I don't blame him for seeing it that way. I was just simply saving parking spots because I knew it was gonna get crowded and people that weren't there yet were wanting spots saved for them.

Anyways, not gonna do that again especially when nobody else did it when they got there.
