What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I live in So. California. I know! The heat takes a toll on all batteries. I replace mine every three years! NO EXCEPTIONS! Been in the woods and everything working PERFECTLY, stop and go for a walk, ok with my hunting rifle, get back to the truck and ..........shit nothing!!! Open the hood and add some water and wait for a few (after a beer, just to pass the time) and it started! Shit, drove out to the city 56 miles. Picked up new one and off I went. Whew! Close one. We're not always in close proximity to everything we need at any given time. Just my thoughts.

 

Yep. It's a terrible feeling and one I don't want around, to be out in bum-fuq and here click-click-click from the starter.

Fucker was dead this morning at 33 degrees and again after driving 30 miles to work. I got the chance to use my brand new GB70 jumper.(I received/charged it on Wednesday).

 

There’s two different versions by members in the 3rd Gen marketplace. Those in the pic raise the front which most people don’t need. A lot of owners get the rear risers and there’s a few people in the 3rd Gen marketplace selling the rear sets.

 

Just upgraded from my KO2s 265/70/17 to the 285/70/17.

Set-up, bilstein 6112s front and 1 inch block in rear. No rubbing at all. Really happy with the bigger tire!

The take-offs only had 1600 miles but I needed to replace the tires on my first generation Tacoma so I decided to upgrade the size on my 18 and use my take-offs on my older Taco.

Lastly, went for the E load again. Had it before and the ride quality was never an issue.

On another note, got the "DT" version of the KO2s. I guess its a "different thread" (rubber) that the BFG is using for improved quality.

What headlights do you have? Maybe just the lighting but the side profile looks nice.

Wow, I wish. I get an average of 15 mpg. In the highway, on a good day with no traffic i’ll get 17.8-18 mpg

Just bought it a few days ago. 2017 Sport. It was detailed yesterday here at dealership where I work. Lol

 

I tried the subtle method. That barnacle on your glovebox door looks funky to me. I don't like it.
