Anyone else have a 2020 TRD Off-Road Manual on order?

Ordered mine 09/17. No word either......

 

Ordered a 2020 TRD Pro, standard 6-speed yesterday. We will see how long it will take.

 

Did they give you any estimate for how long it will take?

 

I was lucky to jump on an allocation about the day it dropped on the dealer, and got a deposit down - allocated 9/17, build 10/18, port 10/31, avail 11/7. AG Pro 6MT. Shows on the Southeast region’s site as well.

 

Sounds like the stars aligned for you on this one! I also went in on 9/17, but there were none available.

 

Truly! I looked at Southeast distributor for what your specs are, and 8 2020 4x4 TRDOR, all w/ LEDs, show as either immediately available or out to mid-Nov within 100 miles of me. None in the Voodoo Blue tho, and I can’t tell if they are presold. There is a MGM pretty close that says immediate avail. IMed a link.

I put a deposit down on an AG PRO MT on 9/15. Dealer keeps saying they put in the request and have not heard a peep out of Toyota.

Could be 3-6 months and it's possible I won't get it at all.

At the mercy of Toyota.

 

I hear ya. I think without a specific allocation, the dealers don’t know. And all the allocations for ones I’ve seen only go out to mid Nov, so really long lead times just don’t have data. I definitely got lucky if this all comes together. The down side is I have no bargaining power except not to take any useless extended, upholstery, ding or tire warrantees that they are going to try to jam down my throat.

 

I might......gassssppp......settle for an AT Transmission.

 

I'm seeing 2020s in stock been eyeing one but can't justify the payment.

 

I’ve actually thought that too if something falls thru. There are worse things.

 

There are some in stock, but none that are manual that have what I'm looking for in the way of options. I'm being picky this time around...

 

I found the off road shocks more comfortable for daily driving, test drove sports in both 2nd and 3rd gen and just wasn't a fan of how it rode. Better resale for the off roads too.

 

The MTs are unicorns this early in the release.

You can do an Advanced Search for Manual Transmission Tacoma's on Cars.com and it will show you what is currently available across the country, still better to wait for what you ordered though.

I checked there and the closest to me is over 900 miles! Still waiting ....
